After interviewing prospective candidates for employment on the subject  vessel, the Crewing Department dispatches to the Customer’s Crew Department the following:

-A completed Application Form.

-A completed Interview Form, with the interviewer’s remarks and achieved result.

Underlining all the above our assessor could analyze various subjective results (  performance reports, test, interview,  proposed task achievement ) and make an objective opinion about the candidates on reasonable grounds.

The main Idea lies in matching candidate ability and skills with onboard requirements   & client expectations. Last but not least our assessors  ( Training Master/Chief Eng ) is an active seafarer who is aware of modern industry requirements from their own experience.

Further preparation for the assignment will follow,  once the applicant is confirmed by the Owner for employment.

CREW CAREER GROWTH

The key aspect of good performance onboard is crew motivation. The possibility of personal career growth & stable employment is one of the main arguments for self-motivation.

Seafarer is checked for general compliance, i.e. human interrelations, ability to work in a team, aptitude to adjustment, attitude to the working environment, settling working priorities.

In order to get into the list of potential candidates for promotion, our seafarers should prove their good attitude on board and get a promotion letter from two superiors. In other words, they have to be judged positively via performance reports & recommended for promotion by two different superiors ( Captain /Ch.Eng ). Therefore, two subjective opinions will give the possibility for the next step – assessment & interview with training Master/Ch. Eng. The goal of the subject assessment is to illuminate a weak point and identify the training needs & facilitate further promotion.
